Job Description

Our Client, a leading player in the financial services industry fully licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to offer consumer finance solutions to customers welcomes energetic, enthusiastic and highly efficient team players who will bring new clients on a daily basis, to apply for the position of Deposit Mobilizer/Relationship Officers:

Advise clients on new products and services

Create and Convert a robust sales lead generation pipeline

Drive the deposit mobilization arm of the business to Initiate, follow-up and close sales.

Develop and implement business plans for identified target markets to drive high volumes of new deposits, improve the deposit retention rate and manage withdrawal attrition.

Develop prospects from current client’s referral leads.

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and individual depositors.

Ensure prompt service delivery and maintaining an acceptable turnaround time

Follow all existing protocol for handling deposits 

Innovate and develop attractive value added deposit products together with the marketing department to achieve overall deposit targets.

Innovate and improve ways of rewarding depositors in terms of interest earning on ordinary deposit and fixed deposits.

Maintain a healthy profitable profit and loss scorecard.

Present financial services to groups and organizations

Receive feedback from clients of financial needs and areas of improvement.

Sale of the client’s various risk and liability asset products.


The candidate will need to:

Have prior experience marketing and sourcing new clients for risk and liability asset products is highly preferred.

Must reside in Lagos.

Maintain and develop new customers account, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.

Develop long–term relationships with clients

Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual reports

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Qualification & Requirements:

B.Sc./HND qualification in any relevant field.

Minimum of 2-5 years cognate experience in Banking or any Micro-finance Industry is preferred.

Relationship development and management skills

Self-Motivated with a professional work attitude

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Strategic and innovative thinking

Good Oral and written communication skills

 Excellent Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information

Motivation for Sales with great selling and customer service skills.

Good IT and Presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in teams

Ability to use initiative to pursue approved projects

Proven track record of achieving targets and deliverables

Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

Confident personality with a target and result oriented mindset
