Job Description

Policies & Documentation

The requirements of this key result area will include but are not limited to:-

1.1         Develop, initiate, maintain & revise company policies & procedures to prevent illegal, unethical & improper conduct

1.2         Periodically review corporate Code of Conduct and SOPs to ensure up-to-date relevance in day-to-day business operations and conduct by management & staff

Monitoring & Reports

The requirements of this key result area will include but are not limited to:-

2.1     Monitor & coordinate all compliance related activities across all units in the company

2.2     Continuously & consistently monitor adherence to internal control measures

2.3     Respond to alleged infractions of compliance procedures up to initiation of investigative procedures

Risk Assessment & Management

The requirements of this key result area will include but are not limited to:-

3.1     Identify potential areas of compliance risk; develop & implement corrective procedures and provide guidance on how to avoid or handle similar situations in future

3.2     Liaise with business development teams on reviewing business proposals/opportunities for areas of potential risk exposures

3.3     Conduct sweeps & spot checks across sensitive operational areas

3.4     Liaise with the HR Department to develop effective compliance training programs for staff and management
