Is a professional and sound Cloud, Infrastructure & Mobility (CIM) Engineer, who possesses both deep and wide expertise in the IT CIM space. As a CIM Presales Engineer at FPG, you are expected to:
Possess a solid technical IT infrastructure background and deep product
knowledge to support solution write ups, product’s features, benefits, capabilities
and comparative analysis among competing products/OEM`s.
Engage in a presales technical consultancy role to provide technical assistance
and guidance during the presales/sales process by identifying customers
technical and business requirements prior to designing a solution.
Articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio and position it to both business and technical users.
Provide technical solutions to new and existing customers.
Consult with technical teams about capabilities and support the business in
cross-functional projects to drive organizational advancement.
Participate in strategy meetings with the Technology, Sales and Marketing team.
Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
Support Salespeople in all aspects of the sales process.
Have an analytical mindset and leverage data across all interactions.
Be an effective communicator across multiple mediums, both externally and

As a CIM Presales Engineer, you MUST meet the following criteria;
A minimum of 4-5years of related experience as a CIM Presales Engineer in a
reputable IT firm with record of accomplishment in this role.
Experience working in mixed Windows/Linux, database and virtualized/physical server environments.
Knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS etc.) and ability to architect these solutions.
Sever virtualization technologies (Xenserver, VMware Vsphere, KVM, HyperV etc.)
Desktop (VDI) and Application virtualization technologies.
Web application delivery, networking (Loadbalancing – F5, NetScaler etc.)
Knowledge of mobility solutions (Airwatch, Xenmobile, Mass360, Blackberry etc.)
Hardware and storage (HP, IBM, etc.)
Operating systems (windows, Linux, UNIX, power systems – AIX etc.)
Knowledge of backup & recovery and monitoring (infrastructure, application,
network etc.) solutions.

- A minimum of a B.Eng./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical/

- Possession of relevant OEM professional certifications.
The Presales Engineer coordinates technical pre-sales activities. He/she transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies
Sales Account Managers on visits to customers. The Presales Engineer supports the successful achievement of sales targets by analyzing the technical needs and proving ability to deliver the IT solutions proposed to prospects or existing customers. Add value
to FPG by providing expertise throughout the sales process and ultimately influencing sales.
Responding to bids/Request for Proposal (RFP), writing winning technical
proposals, working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business.
Attending meetings and acting as a technical expert or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Specific areas of responsibility that you will be responsible for include but are not limited to the following:
Engage in activities including customer meetings, product presentation anddemo/POV/POC.
Support with technical defense or qualification.
Provide answers to technical questions in a RFI or a RFP.
Build custom product demo’s.
Provide first-line technical support for software evaluations and/or pilot projects.
Assist the Sales team qualify leads by using deep understanding of the product’s
features to identify customer pain points.
Write winning technical proposals.
Support customer events.
Create the solution document, custom white paper and datasheets.
Build technical relationship with prospects or existing customers.
Provide any technical input needed for proposals.
Liaise with corporate support teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the presales process.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
Identify/generate and execute initiatives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term presales engagement, project implementation and revenue generation.
Other related functions as may be requested by the Employer or your Manager.
