Job Description

Role:

Our Client’s vision is to become Africa’s leading digital financial services platform.  Since beginning in 2012, they have changed the consumer loan industry in Nigeria. 
Now, together with teams in Lagos, London and Porto, they are scaling up the banking revolution for African consumers with Carbon - and looking for a marketing partner to do so.
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
360-degree responsibility over and management of all marketing and user acquisition activities of the company in line with business planning
Marketing Management: Setting up, tracking, reporting and optimization of all applicable marketing funnels - including oversight of third-party providers where employed
Performance Marketing: Continuous optimization of market reach and conversion through all applicable channels in trackable manner
Marketing Human Resources: Building and maintaining marketing team including hiring, incentivization and development in collaboration with human resources
Marketing Budgeting: Forecasting and planning of channels spend and return in line with business plan expectations
Brand: Driving brand framework and brand development including speech and visuals
Marketing Research: Work closely with business intelligence to report on and evaluate data to make data-driven marketing decisions and develop segmentation and target persona
Collaboration: Close coordination with product and technology teams to drive new products and technology innovations into the market
Key Requirements:
Proven track record in the field of applied marketing leadership - including performance marketing, branding, content and offline elements.  8-10 years of work experience an advantage.
Strong team player and communicator with the ability to motivate and lead growing organizations
Self-starting, entrepreneurial and structured mindset with seniority to define and own a scaling department
Completed Bachelor/Master education in applicable field is an advantage
Fluency in English, ability to speak French is an advantage
