A consulting firm seeks qualified candidates to fill this role


Objective/ Purpose

To identify sales leads, pitch company products to prospective clients boost sales and maintain good working relationship with all company contacts. 


Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Assist to perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Build strong relationships with customers, outside business contacts, and company stakeholders
  • Reach out to potential leads through cold calling
  • Upload and update generated contact and assigned contact into sales funnel
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints speedily to maximize satisfaction and retention
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions 
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs   
  • Participate in strategy reviews, strategy development and the implementation thereof. 
  • Report field operations to the Line Manager/HOD
  • Manage prospective customers / clients as may be assigned by the HOD
  • Ensure all generated sales from contacts to opportunities are documented and regularly updated for references.
  • Assist with conducting research to identify new markets and customers need
  • Prepare proposals and liaise with Supervisor/Line manager to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare sales report and other reports as may be required by Supervisor /Line managers
  • Other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor/Line Manager  


Educational Qualification:

  • At least an OND
  • Professional Qualification:
  • Professional Qualification/certification is an added advantage 
  • Experience 1-2 years sales experience in ICT or related field 
  • Grade Alignment
