Job Description

  1. Prospects continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques, including telephone solicitation, use of social and digital media and cold calling.
  2. Maintains current list of all prospects in electronic database as specified by company.
  3. Develop business development strategies in collaboration with and under the direction of
  4. Analyzes local market to identify market opportunities, prospective companies and clients
  5. Follows-up on referrals and self-generated leads to identify prospective clients; monitors prospects’ contract calendars; prepares reports on status of leads and other reports as required.
  6. Plans prospect visits with appropriate operations personnel, such as the Regional manager or the General Manager
  7. Makes sales presentations to prospective customers.
  8. Solicits orders and processes approved services schedules; strives to achieve sales goals.
  9. Meets regularly with new clients to assess level of satisfaction with services and to develop a list of strong referrals.
  10. Develops and submits proposals to prospective clients after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from management as appropriate.
  11. Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives
  12. Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with Regional Manager and others above to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
  13. Drive the increase of the brand awareness of Fort Knox Guards in the South/South region by employing digital and social media marketing.
  14. Proactively drive business development, develop and nurture business relationship with clients, prospective clients, and key influences.
  15. Ensure we’re on track to hit revenue targets.
  16. Analyze, develop, implement and follow-up on business development processes and win contracts.
