As a tech company, the organisation is broadly split up into two areas, the technical and the business. As our client base, and (by extension) workload has increased, we recognise the need to further demarcate these two areas, for the benefit of the entire organisation.

This job advert Business Development & Operation Officer/Manager is precisely to meet that need. This individual's job will be to manage up the business team and the business arm of the company.

This role is for an experienced, dynamic, extroverted and energetic personality, with strong people skills and a strategic business & management mind. Assist with our Business Development function in identification of potential new clients, building brand strategies and interfacing with stakeholders. Responsible for new business development strategies, identification of potential new clients, brand building strategies

Identify new business opportunities, growth areas for existing services and develop strategies to identify future growth opportunities.

Continually assess and evaluate current and future business environment to determine if changes in objectives are required.

Develop business value proposition for the organisation's products & services

Manage projects effectively to deliver incremental growth.

Assist in the development of marketing literature for the organization’s products and services (proposals, letters, company profile, contracts working with lawyers)

Develop and execute marketing strategies for the organization

Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

Manage and retain relationship with existing clients

Liaising with the CTO to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the business side of technology.

Provide performance data to support management decision-making

 Collate information and documentation for bid tender, prepare bid documentation and keep record of all bid tenders, follow up on bid tenders

Formulate budget for different company initiatives.

Develop strategies to increase the brand awareness of the company.

Research and monitor competition activities

Represent the organization at meetings, events, exhibitions, trade shows etc.

Implement customer satisfaction survey to understand customer perception of organisation’s products and services

Networking with other companies, and individuals in the tech space for potential collaboration.

Frequently review company policies, procedures and processes for maximum efficiency.

Any other duties as may be assigned
