Job Description

Lead client conversations through emails, phone calls and in person meetings

Participate in technical surveys and the delivery of relevant sales/business-case presentations for                prospective clients

Engage in post-proposal follow up with prospective clients for deal closure

Contribute to the development of business and marketing plans

Develop and execute Monthly plan to develop new clientele

Troubleshoot customer service issues and follow up in a timely manner

Regularly update relevant marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and professionalism

Perform energy audits on client sites

Design of PV systems (on grid, off grid, hybrid)

Develop sales proposals to drive the sales process

Prepare and submit tender documents (specifications, Bill of Quantities, drawings, etc.) and designs            as per requirements

Drive the sales process from proposal to a signed contract

Work with Commercial Department to draft sales contract.

 Assist in market research on solar energy projects throughout Nigeria

 Develop standard operating procedures and HSE standards for solar installation projects

 Review technological trends in the local and global energy sector

Liaise with regulatory and governmental institutions as required.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Preferably Electrical & Electronics Engineering

 At least 2 years of Engineering experience, preferably in the solar industry

MS Office – Words/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

 Basic understanding of electrical installation processes and solar equipment

Ability to work and contribute in a team

Ability to deliver quality service always

Understanding of business principles

 Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities

Good communication skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of Management in client organisations

Ability to work to deadlines and good time management skills

Exposure to professional Sales training is an advantage

Energetic, independent and self-driven

 Ability to travel locally and Internationally.
