Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for the position of Business Development Manager to join our team of estate surveyors and valuers. Ideal candidates must be entrepreneurial; goal and detail-oriented, with an exceptional ability to motivate teams and meet targets. The BDM will work with teams across the organization’s offices to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue for units and branches of the organization.

  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description

  • Develop growth strategies and work plans for assigned business units and offices
  • Research business opportunities in different markets
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Participate in all aspects of unit/branch growth activities
  • Present as a good ambassador of the DF brand
  • Identify team capacity gaps
  • Track unit/branch activities and monitor performance
  • Produce periodic activity and performance reports
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally
  • Ensure forecasted sales targets are met by teams

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3 -7 years of sales or marketing experience are required for this position.
  • Experience in real estate would be an added advantage but is not required
