Job Description

A well-established private school in the city center of FCT-Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa,is seeking the services of experienced teachers to teach students in the secondary Level Mathematics and other related subjects to join its dedicated staff. We are interested in professionally qualified candidates who have the passion to inspire Young minds, and a commitment to ensure that every child achieves his or her Personal potential.

 

Job Description:

  • Possess strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver constructive and Informative lesson plans.
  • Maintaining Discipline
  • Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary / secondary students.
  • Organizing the classroom and learning resources, and creating displays to
  • Encourage a positive learning environment
  • Promote literacy and teach basic skills
  • Planning, Preparing, presenting/ teaching lessons that covers all areas of the Curriculum
  • Motivating students with enthusiastic and imaginative presentations
  • Preparing and evaluation work to facilitate positive student development
  • Meeting the requirements for the assessment and recording of students Development
  • Working with colleagues to plan and coordinate work 

 

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Must possess a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Basic technology / Technical Drawing 
  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Education for non-Education degree holders will be an added advantage
  • Graduate teachers with a minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience in a good School environment, in the related subject
  • Able to show commitment to teaching and a satisfactory conduct from the previous School
  • Ready to start work at the beginning of the first term 2018/2019 Academic year
  • Patience, flexibility and love for children
  • Knowledge of child development and up to date education methods
  • Strong communication, writing and time management skills

Working Hours

Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm and may be required to work weekends and

Longer hour’s weekdays
