Job Description

Provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.

Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Region Sales Manager.
Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations)
Develop strong relationships and close collaboration with all dealers.
Monitor dealers’ turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that our SKUs are available and that the dealers reach their monthly targets.
Develop and execute action plans in case the dealer falls behind on his/her monthly target.
Identify and recruit new customers, both, in wholesale and retail.
Remit all cash collected on behalf of the dealer to the dealer without fail.
Raise orders and invoices; confirm dealer’s payment for new orders.
Co-ordinate with the Logistics/Warehouse team to ensure that goods are delivered within 24 hours.
Manage, control and secure assets (like vans assigned to dealers, POS materials, etc).
Ensure the disciplined execution of the SR’s daily/weekly call plan.
Keep track of actual calls versus calls scheduled; productive calls versus actual calls made.
Ensure that SRs perform daily reconciliation of dealer stocks sold through redistribution.
Develop and execute a training plan for the team (together with the Region Sales Manager).
Manage the key accounts strategically with a business orientation.
Develop and execute monthly/quarterly and yearly customer plans
Product Management and Update yearly contract with business terms favorable for company
Build & maintain relationship with managers, directors of key accounts.
Supervise and lead of the Modern Trade sales team in Abuja..
Understand and follow the competitive market situation.
Adhere to the company’s Accounting and Administration policies and guidelines.


Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, Sales & Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 4 years in Sales; preferably in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
Basic accounting Knowledge
Good knowledge of Markets.
Strong interpersonal skills
Leadership, Team Management and Excellent presentation skills
Good and effective communication and negotiation skills, leadership.
Proactive and Team player
Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment
Good skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.
