You will work alongside the Personnel Manager to complete the jobs related to staff, internal affairs, government office interactions, and record keeping.

Overseeing the staff and casual workers- the face and voice of the company when it comes to interacting with the workers

Regular and close communication with the various Heads of Departments to ensure smooth operation within their teams with regard to workers

Tackling issues related to manpower. Hiring, disciplining, firing. 

Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to within the premises


Interact with government authorities as instructed, and manage factory inspections by various agencies. SON, MAN, Labor, Ministry of Environment, and others

Taking necessary action to resolve any issues in consultation with our legal advisor

Preparing and paying monthly dues to government authorities: NSITF, PAYEE, and others

Record Keeping

Keeping records of workers attendance, salary, and leave

Keep track of company vehicle documentation

Keeping records of interactions with government agencies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet minimum requirements for this position.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s) 


Minimum of 2 years experience in manpower management (managing at least 50 people)

Experience working in a factory/ manufacturing plant (preferred)

Experience liaising with government authorities (preferred)

Stays within a 30-minute commute from Surulere as extended hours may be required at times (preferred)

Key Competencies 

Good interpersonal skills- able to work well with others 

Able to read and write written and verbal communication skills as well as formal presentation skills

Problem analysis and problem-solving

Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience of effectively developing and motivating a team of people.
