Job Summary

A leadership initiative which runs numerous projects to support women who aspire to be leaders in their chosen fields. Beyond its annual conference, the organization intends to run workshops to address the training and development needs of women. It is also setting up its own interactive website that will form a platform for the active engagement of women.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the WiLS office and coordinate all its projects and initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end event management
  • Customer/stakeholder relationship management
  • Office administration and overall organizational efficiency

In addition, the candidate will 

  • Manage WiLS’ online and social media presence
  • Work with subject matter experts to deliver on set communication targets for all events and initiatives
  • Be responsible for making the website a valuable resource by ensuring that content is up to date and easy for visitors to find and navigate

  • Manage the WiLS office and maintain efficient records, documentation and processes
  • End-to-end coordination of all WiLS events from conception to close out
  • Communication  
  • Support effective communication and publicity of WiLS activities
  • Ensure WiLS maintains an active and effective online and social media presence across channels
  • Follow up on content and support WiLS in ensuring that site updates are done on a timely and seamless manner.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships internally and externally towards efficient delivery of WiLS events and activities
  • Manage correspondence relating to WiLS events and activities


  • B.Sc or B.A. Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Mass Communications or a  related field


  • Two (2) to three (3) years post-graduation experience working in an Administrative, Public Relations/Marketing, Event Management or Customer Service role in a reputable organization
  • Website and social media management skills would be an advantage
