Support management planning and financial decision making by providing management with financial information by researching, analyzing daily budgets on the production floors, accounts and preparing initial drafts of financial reporting requirements by accurately recording A/P (including Purchasing), A/R and Fixed Assets transactions

  • Must be able to produce financial statements within 180 days of training
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
  • Value assets by appraising current condition; assessing potential
  • Recommend financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
  • Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information within 180 days of training
  • Exhibit increasing technical knowledge as measure by management
  • Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information
  • Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes
  • Must review weekly A/R and A/P reports to Executive Chairman no later than Monday by 12pm (every week)
  • Must enter all weekly A/R and A/P data completely and without errors in the ERP no later than Friday by 11:00am every week
  • Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
  • Ensure that no customer is over their credit limit or beyond their credit terms unless written approval is provided by Finance
  • Maintain housekeeping standards: daily cleaning of work area as necessary while following the Company’s safety guidelines and “5 S” standards
  • Ensure that information is recorded and conveyed according to or better than expected standards in terms of completeness, accuracy and compliance
  • Must be punctual to all scheduled meetings and communicate potential tardiness no less than an hour prior to the scheduled time
  • Seek opportunities to provide assistance to other staff and management team members whenever possible
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company policy, procedures and culture protocols
Special Projects
Execute special projects or assignments as allocated by management
Carry out research and analysis that may be required for such projects
Prepare detailed and accurate information for immediate management on projects and any implementation actions
