VSO Sierra Leone has been operational since last 50 years. It has been working mainly in health and livelihoods programmes bringing international and national volunteers and working with Sierra Leone government, Civil Society organisations and communities to fight against poverty.
The MIS Officer is overall responsible to lead the activities related to development, implementation and management of monitoring, reviews, research, evaluation, data collection, interpretation, reporting and information systems of VSO’s programmes in Sierra Leone.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Graduate degree in development studies or management with qualification in MIS, documentation and communication, research in social development areas specific to health, livelihood and education. Working experience with at least 3-5 years in monitoring, evaluation, research and communication field.
Professional qualification and experience:
Language: excellent command to speak, read and write in English
Previous working experience in Sierra Leone or West Africa is an advantage
This position will be on a fixed term national contract with attractive benefits.
