A firm in the healthcare seeks qualified candidates to fill this role



  • Generate daily/weekly laboratory report.
  • Generate management reports – monitor performance by gathering relevant data for statistical analysis.
  • Manage stock usage and prepare stock report.
  • Liaise with colleagues and clients to ensure optimum service delivery.
  • Ensures customer complaints and feedback are addressed promptly.
  • Adequately support other departments in the customer journey.
  • Monitor operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor continuous process improvement and compliance to Total Quality Management System.
  • Analysis of routine and urgent samples.
  • Monitoring all laboratory workflow which includes but not limited to pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical procedures. 
  • Manage the performance and documentation of quality control procedures in accordance with quality assurance requirements.
  • To ensure laboratory SOPs are periodically developed, reviewed and updated.
  • To ensure proper documentation of all laboratory process for accreditation and reference purpose.
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance, documentation and technical troubleshooting. 
  • Manage Sendaways and effectively tracking of all Sendaways samples.
  • To ensure laboratory staff read and sign off all relevant SOPs.
  • To ensure the training and development of laboratory staff.
  • Monitoring and supervision of staff members in the laboratory.
  • To ensure continuous improvement and personal development
  • Monitors adherence to the organizational core values


Key Performance Indicator

  • Increase in laboratory productivity – Workflow, Turnaround time, accuracy, and Customer satisfaction 
  • SOP development – Development, Review and updating of SOP’s . Adherence to SOP’s and QA standards 
  • Accuracy of control – EQA and DQC performance, reports and corrective and preventive actions done
  • Incident reports, corrective and preventive actions done
  • Weekly, Monthly and quarterly internal audit report 
  • Staff development and management 
  • Economical stock usage, minimum wastage
