A firm in the trade and services sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role

 

Department/Unit Business Development/Marketing

Reports to Managing Director

 

Professional Qualification: Minimum of an HND/ First degree in a relevant discipline

Professional Marketing qualifications would be an added advantage

Experience and Training Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.

Interior decorating industry experience would be an added advantage but not a must Some experience in marketing, selling and dealing with customers is required

Key Responsibilities/ Duties

Plan, develop and grow current and future key accounts/customers

Expand the company’s service portfolio range

Develop new business relationship; generating and negotiating new contracts

Supervise company’s marketing team; monitoring targets

Agree unit and individual targets, pricing and margins with the Managing Director and General Manager 

Develop strategic marketing and sales plans

Create the customer database and service offerings

Grow the customer database and service offerings

Represent the company on business development and sales/marketing –related projects and meetings

Make presentations to prospective customers

Develop unit induction procedures

Manage welfare and performance of unit employees

Plan, Execute, and Oversee the online marketing strategy and social media initiatives.

KPIs

Prompt presentation of Business Development, Marketing and Sales Report

Level of new revenue generated for the company in a month/period

Number of new customers brought in through individual marketing effort

Growth in number of new customers per month/year

Prompt and proper response to customer need and requests

Ability to develop and manage an effective and efficient business development/ marketing team

 

 

Fixed Salary (consisting of basic, housing, utility, feeding and transportation and its taxable) N100,000

Variable Salary (based on target achieved and its non-taxable) N50,000

However, meeting target also makes eligible to benefit from our commission policy which will be between 2% of company’s profit of 30%.
