The Manager is responsible for the overall Operation and Management of BBQ & Cravings company and its various sub-brands it plans on establishing. Key responsibility areas include Compliance, Business Growth & Sales, Data Mining and Processing, Food Standardization, Supply Chain Sourcing and Management, Profitability, Sales Forecasting and Budgeting, Staff Training, Welfare and Retention,.
- Working with the CEO to position the brand to be market leaders in the Fast Casual Restaurants in lagos
- Articulating brand vision and ensuring authenticity and synergy with corporate actions and staff body
- Developing a non alcoholic beverage selection including cocktails and fresh juices
- Ensure brand philosophy is communicated all through its business practices.
- Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the Company’s financial and operational guidelines. Including weekly financial and non Financial Reports.
- Ensure compliance with all legal bodies and Regulatories, the restaurant must operate with all Licenses, Permits and Health codes up to date and current.
- Entire operations processes of BBQ & Cravings documented and standardized to ensure consistency and efficiency through out business operations.
- Aggressively seek growth opportunities for the restaurant
- General food cost reduction and maintained between 25% and 30% .
- Establish a training program for staff and optimizing each staff position for maximum efficiency.
- Aggressively mining and processing of customer data to gather any information that will assist the business.
- Growing the loyalty program to reward customer and also mine data on purchasing trend.
- Constantly exploring growth opportunities for the company
- Penetrating estates within the area and having a forecasted sales expectation from each estate.
- Penetrating key businesses establishment to drive sales
- Develop initiatives and strategies to build sales, profitability and guest counts. Maintain effective cost controls in support of these initiatives. Target Docket count is 10 dockets per hour of operation
- Ensure all safety and security systems and procedures are followed to ensure health and safety of employees, company assets and guests
- Responsible for the physical/aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant
- Maintain work balance and employee productivity level, scheduling roaster
- Resolve internal conflict and ensure employee moral is high
- Negotiating with suppliers and sourcing alternate supply chain.
- Recruit, hire and Staff training including efficiency in production, hygiene and other kitchen processes
- Demonstrate high ethical and leadership standards at all times, adhering to
- Standards laid out by the Company’s founder.
