DESCRIPTION

Market intelligence:

  • Continuous observation of consumer trends
  • Continuous observation of market trends
  • Continuous observation of competitor activities

 

Sales:

  • Identification of distributors and wholesalers for FMCG products in Lagos and other Nigerian open markets
  • Sales of FMCG products, for instance, Toshiba consumer batteries
  • Sales support of distributors

 

Marketing:

  • Definition of open market activation concepts
  • Implementation of open market activations

 

Product Piloting:

  • Preparation of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for new FMCG products
  • Product testing and piloting of new products
  • Product launches and close oversight/push until critical mass is reached

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master degree in Marketing, Sales or related area
  • Proven ability to lead sales and marketing teams in fast moving consumer goods in open markets in Nigeria
  • 5+ years of working experience in open market sales
  • In-depth understanding of open markets in Nigeria
  • Proven track record of market introduction of new consumer products
  • Proven track record of full regional or national open market sales channel responsibility
