A firm in the healthcare sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role


Job Description:

  • Updating the Financial Ledger & Electronic Medical Records system with stock movement
  • Receiving various stock items from suppliers & warehousing the stock in a systematic manner
  • Ensure hospital stocks are of high quality and obsolete stocks are minimized
  • Dispatching stock to various Hospital locations in accordance with Hospital SOPs
  • Conduct regular Market Price survey,
  • Purchase low value, fast moving stocks from the local  market
  • Maintain electronic catalogue
  • Review Stock Aging Reports & minimize stock out situations in the Hospital
  • Ability to operate within stock delivery deadlines
  • Partake in the Annual and Interim General stocktaking
  • Willingness to work Weekends and occasional after hours departure
  • Skills.
  • Excellent Negotiation and Bargaining skills
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Experience of inputting and extracting data from a Stock Inventory software
  • Must have excellent Customer Services, Good Communicator and Problem Solving skills
  • Dependable team player with good interpersonal skills



Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum National Diploma in Purchasing & Supply or Business related studies
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in stock management in a reputable company
