As kitchen supervisor, you'll be leading a small army of chefs and overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen, including cleaning the equipment, checking supplies and rotating food stock
Experience of working in a kitchen and cooking
Some management experience will help

As a kitchen Supervisor you must someone who likes to be hands on and is a stickler for detail. You're going to have to get down to the nitty gritty because it's your job to help maintain high standards of health and safety and to make sure the kitchen never runs out of ingredients.
Kitchen Supervisors must monitor their kitchen’s adherence to health codes multiple times a day, and must keep an eye of food storage, food holding temperatures, surfaces, hand washing facilities and more. If and when they find an infraction, it’s up to them to correct it as quickly as possible.
Kitchen Supervisor needs to dedicate a considerable amount of time to overseeing the activities of all staff members, evaluating individual performance as well as overall group cooperation.
Kitchen Supervisor manages inventory, makes informed purchasing decisions, organize and label everything in the inventory
Kitchen Supervisor to train the new employee, motivate and help the new employee while simultaneously making sure that they understand the correct way of going about their daily tasks.
