Managing refurbishments and renovations according to plan to ensure smooth running of a Luxury Commercial Center.

The general upkeep and maintenance of the buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and also legal requirements.

To manage the cleaning, waste disposal, electrical installations, CCTV, security and parking of the center, while managing the budgets and keeping records of all payments.

To ensure that the buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them, whilst making sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work and conduct first class retail business.

To be responsible for managing the office systems, which include the IT and office equipment.

To manage any building maintenance with things like air conditioning, to maintain the working environment.

To develop good working relationships with a wide range of people. He will need to be well organised and have excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as customer and client management skills.


The Facility Manager needs to have the ability to manage a varied and complex workload and also have technical knowledge of building services, and as he will be responsible for a budget, he will need to be able to control efficiently and manage it and have the ability to make decisions quickly. Problem-solving is an essential skill as there will be times when things don’t go to plan and skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) are also recommended.
