IQ Systems Solutions Limited, a leading provider of technology solutions to businesses and organizations in Nigeria, is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to help generate qualified leads and sell our advanced services in Nigeria and the rest of the world.
The Sales and Business Development Manager is expected to qualify and contact prospective clients, up-sale to existing clients, and close business. The ideal candidate understands the IT industry and has successful, solutions sales background.
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Utilize and manage prospect information with a comprehensive customer relationship management system;
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of sales experience, (solution sales approach) preferably in a high tech environment;
- Consistent track record of success in closing business, and creating and managing a pipeline of opportunities;
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented;
- Ability to communicate with senior level management, to explain complex processes and to demonstrate IT services to clients;
+ Performance-based Commission + expenses
