A consulting firm seeks qualified candidates to fill this role
We are currently in need of a business developer who can turn the business around for the company's benefit. This is a strategic position that requires an articulate person who can handle all the company's business proposals and develop new ideas.
- Lead the business development team to achieve set targets
- Create and manage business (new and existing) opportunities for the firm.
- Marketing the firm’s products including
- Make contact with potential clients to create new business opportunities and expand sales.
- Maintain client relationships through regular contact and customer service.
- Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to
- Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
Requirements and Skills
- Assist in the writing of proposals, development of brochures, marketing literature, and website content.
- Understand all of the company’s service offerings and clearly communicate them to clients and prospective clients.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, and industry training programs on behalf of the company.
- Recommend short-term and long-term strategies for business expansion through new product lines or enhanced marketing/ branding techniques.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of products and service offerings.
- Help create and maintain a marketing plan for a new or existing product.
- Schedule meetings and conduct presentations for prospective clients.
- Must have a BSC or HND in any field
- Must have an experience working for a media house (TV, RADIO, MAGAZINE, BLOGS ETC)
- Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience
