A  manufacturing/construction firm seeks qualified candidates to fill this role



The Process Engineer will be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation. He/she will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.



  • The Process Engineer is expected to diligently carry out the following duties, tasks and responsibilities, as the sample job description for the post shows:
  • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
  • Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Perform process simulations
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Provide process documentation (PID, Mass Balance,....) and operating instructions
  • Ensuring that operations are within environmental permitting requirements
  • Performing required preventive maintenance and assisting in the troubleshooting of 
  • potential issues while providing assistance to others when unit problems occur
  • Participating in training and responding to emergency situations as Manage contractors' roles for maintenance and project duties
  • Follow the Inspection of the statutory equipments
  • Liaising and communication with colleagues, end users for follow up and/or exchange of information and support for issues
  • Working actively towards the achievement of the Departmental goals
  • Working in accordance with the company's principles and safety standard
  • Performing any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Production Manager
  • Working with an Enterprise Resource Planning like SAP
  • CAD or AutoCAD skills




  • Possess Technical skills in with an associate degree in Engineering. Additionally, the following qualities will be expected of individuals vying for the position:
  • At least three years diploma degree in Associate Engineering in the pertinent engineering discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication ability
  • Sufficient familiarity with schematic, diagrams/illustrations
  • Outstanding acquaintance with safety, health, and environment regulations
  • Ability to work under stress and ascend stairs and ladders
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or in exteriors
  • Possession of good eyesight and ability to interact well with superiors and subordinates.
  • Good team leader
  • This function includes supervision of a team
