A new resort hotel in Epe, Lagos State, under the management of a hospitality group, is looking for employees who are:

Overview of duties

  • Welcomes guests and ensure clean public areas and washrooms
  • Contributes globally to guest satisfaction through the quality of his/her work and exemplary behaviour


Main responsibilities

Customer relations

  • Provides a friendly and personalised welcome for guests
  • Offers an attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraints
  • Heeds any remarks made by guests and ensures follow-up
  • Conveys the image of the resort


Professional techniques / Production

Completes the following tasks:

  • prepares, stocks and cleans the public and washroom areas
  • assist guest with luggage when required and available to do so
  • Before every work shift, finds out about expected arrivals
  • Organises his/her work to suit fluctuations in numbers, events and guests
  • Helps keep the equipment used in good condition


Commercial / Sales

  • Carries out additional tasks in all departments where possible and necessary
  • Helps increase guest loyalty through quality of service


Management and administration

  • Takes part in resort target by respecting the procedures and internal audits applicable in the resort
  • Helps manage guest supplies and equipment by avoiding breakages
  • May be asked to help with inventories, check deliveries and store items
  • Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
  • Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting
  • hygiene standards
  • Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used
  • Applies the resort's security regulations (in case of fire etc.)


Reporting line

Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor



Education / Professional experience

  • Anyone eager to work in the sector regardless of their educational background, pending validation of their skills and motivation
  • Fluent in the national language and English

  • Good interpersonal skills and self-confident
  • Guest oriented and service minded, with attention to quality
  • Good presentation
  • A thorough and organised approach
  • Physical staying power
  • Ability to perform under pressure
