A new resort hotel in Epe, Lagos State, under the management of a hospitality group, is looking for employees who are:

Overview of duties

  • Manages and implements the brand requirements in the department
  • Provides customer satisfaction by coordinating with the front office, restaurant and room personnel
  • Is responsible for the effective and hygienic washing, ironing and storing of the resort linen and guest laundry
  • Ensures that the department's targets are met


Main responsibilities

Customer relations

  • Ensures that guests have use of clean linen and that these items are kept in good condition
  • Ensures that the team respects guests' privacy while working
  • Handles housekeeping, front office and restaurant comments and complaints and follows them up


Professional techniques / Production

  • Ensures the high quality of services provided by a third-party (linen hire, cleaning etc.)
  • Ensures that lost property is managed effectively
  • Guarantees that resort linens and guest laundry are cleaned and services provided to the highest standards
  • Coordinates room allocation with the front office, handling any switches as necessary
  • Signals any technical faults and follows up on repair work



  • Controls all spend on cleaning and laundry products and ensures that equipment is correctly used
  • Helps optimise energy costs
  • Updates and analyses linen and chemical stock and implements action plans as necessary
  • Controls the department's purchases, stocks and laundry processes
  • Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
  • Complies with standards regarding hygiene, cleanliness and the safety of guests' property
  • Ensures that the equipment and cultural assets of the department remain in good condition and working order
  • Applies and ensures the application of the resort's security regulations (in case of fire etc.)


Reporting line

Reports to the Rooms Division Manager



Education / Professional experience

  • Any vocational experience, on the condition that the character matches the desired outputs
  • Fluent in national language
