The Role: 

An IT/ Media company located in Lagos is searching for candidates who will have full responsibility of introducing and selling a new mobile video / online advertising medium for the assigned region. The candidate must have a network that ensures the company achieves top-of-mind positions amongst media agencies, creative agencies and brands within the shortest possible time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ideas and prepare creative proposals
  • Developing excellent relationships with Media Agency and Corporate stakeholders
  • Persuade clients to allocate advertising budget to a new innovative media channel
  • Create Leads From the Company’s Online Groups and Communities
  • Respond to and aggressively follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and onsite client presentations
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
  • Get advertisers for the company’s online platforms.

 

Main goal and KPIs:

  • Get brands to promote their adverts on the company’s online platforms
  • Generate and grow advertisement sales
  • Get Brands to allocate Advertising budgets to the company
  • Manage the Company’s Mobile Platforms and Improve its Revenue Potential

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

  • MUST have a minimum 3 years in digital advertising sales role (at Media Rep Company) OR Minimum 2 years TV Ad sales experience
  • MUST be comfortable in a start-up environment
  • MUST be a CREATIVE thinker who believes in Mobile and Digital Advertising
  • May have active contacts & access to budget owners of the Top 50 corporate advertisers
  • MUST have active CEO-Level contacts of many Small and Medium Enterprise  (SME’s) Companies
  • MUST know how to generate contacts/leads Online
  • MUST have Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills
  • Must have Personal relationships with the leading Media Agencies

 

Personal qualities:

  • Transparency & Honesty is a MUST
  • An ability to close over 5 Online and Physical meetings per day
  • Able to function independently and willing to Grow with the company
  • Should have a decent understanding of Media and Entertainment / Brand Subjects

 

Owing to proximity concern, the candidate MUST live on the Lagos Island Axis preferably Lekki/ Ikoyi/Ajah.
