Maygolden Foods is a food processing company primarily involved with the processing of agricultural produce into finished food products which are made available to end users through various channels of trade (retailers, wholesalers and distributors). 

Job Brief:

The position of a sales representative at Maygolden Foods is a client-facing role which involves moving round and holding meetings regularly, usually, every day, with potential and existing customers as a representative of the company, its products and services. 

In addition to generating as much revenue and income as possible through sales, the field sales representative role involves managing accounts and maintaining customer relationships through effective professional communication. 

Thus, we are looking for ethical, people & result-oriented, strategic, resourceful, self-motivated and hardworking field sales representatives to develop sales strategies, source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful salesperson must have passion for selling and a strong desire to succeed. 

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have: 
  • Minimum qualification of OND
  • At least 1-year working experience as a Field Sales Representative;
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and a strong personal drive for goal achievement;
  • Between 24-35 years.
  • Computer literate.
  • Residing in Lagos (Alimosho, Agege, Ifako, Ikeja, Oshodi, Amuwo, precisely).

Qualification:

Education;

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Economics or any other related field. Relevant experience as a field sales representative can be substituted for the above stated.

Experience:

  • Outside sales experience
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Proven ability to achieve sales target
  • Diligent/industrious- a hard worker
  • Analytical and creative- a problem solver
  • Perceptive/discerning- an observer/learner
  • Persistent/tenacious- an optimist

Benefits:
