Who are we?

Chukaquin is a STARTUP and a subsidiary of Jacob Field Limited. As part of its extended operations, the company is starting a news curator website with the intention of building the largest content online newspaper focused on news from Nigeria.


General Requirements:

The basic task of every employee is to write articles and create content for the magazine. The HMC is in charge of the general growth of the brand through marketing. The HMC’s role is to sustainably increase viewership across all the platforms. The assessment of success in this role is the achievement of maximum growth with minimum cost.


The HMC is in charge of developing growth strategies for the brand. The growth is in both increasing site visits and effective monetization strategies.  

The COO reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). He is expected to grow the business and grow with the business.

Technical Skills

  • Practical knowledge of digital and other media marketing
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experienced in use of data management tools
  • Solid knowledge of web analytical tools (eg NetInsight, Omniture, Good Analytics
  • Up to date experience with latest marketing trends
  • Ability to design and execute effective marketing campaigns with minimal costs.


  • From N40,000 with bonuses depending on the success of the business.

Education Requirement

  • First Degree in Marketing or related degree
  • Additional qualification/training in social and other media communication is very important.


  • Candidates should have a very good laptop and may work from home within the first month of the business using collaborative business tools to communicate with other members of the team. However, there will be a proper office by the 2nd month of the business and the arrangement will change to a proper office system.
