Job Title: Receptionist/Executive Assistant

Reports to: Executive Director

Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as contact person for the organization.
  • Maintains security and telecommunications system.
  • Serves as liaison officer for the organization through telephone and emails.
  • Ensures all front desk policies and procedures are upheld.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Prepares minutes for meetings and maintains log.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Required Skills

  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office such as Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and be willing to assume a range of unanticipated assignments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Professional and friendly communication style, with the ability to field calls from a diverse group.
  • Excellent attention to detail


Minimum Job Requirement

  • OND/ Diploma
  • Work experience in a similar role may be an added advantage.
