Position: Marketing and business development Director for a Start-up company


An exciting opportunity has become available for a Marketing and business development Director to join Talent2celeb Limited based in Lagos. This role requires the Director to hit the ground running, plan and implement revenue generation. This position attracts a good salary and companies shares dependent on target. Due to the fast-paced nature of the organisation, this position will be best suited for a candidate coming from a relatively small organisation where their current position encompasses broad responsibilities. If you like to be busy, hands-on and be responsible for all areas of the marketing mix then this role is for you!

We provide talent services to companies and sell third-party deals to talents.




This role requires someone creative with interest in working within media, fashion,arts and entertainment.  


The Marketing and business development Director will be responsible for:


*Developing and delivering marketing and communications plans;

*Delivering an integrated strategy;

*Developing own targets and sales team targets and strategy to achieve targets;

*Developing products and offers for the target markets;

*Team management;

*Budget responsibility.

  • Significant demonstrable track record working in marketing and B2B sales roles. Ideal sector background would be from a social trend background and sell to Corporates

  • Demonstrable and successful track record in Sales meeting targets and in Marketing online essential

  • Preference to someone with significant Digital online skills to design, plan and launch a major online presence.

  • Take charge of product and business development and execution

  • Prepare projections and action plan

  • Great understanding of online B2C and B2B

  • Leadership and Board Director potential

  • Excellent communicator and presentation skills

  • Leadership and Board Director potential

  • Takes pride in their work and is a confident, self-motivator who wants to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • A technologically aware individual who uses social media

  • An extremely organized person with a keen attention to detail – you’re going to be busy and need to know how to manage your time.

The content and mix for this role will be 30% Marketing, 30% business development and 40% Sales.
