Job Details

  • To supervise all sales staff in the pharmacy
  • Attend to customers and dispense appropriate medicines as necessary
  • Drive the process of collecting data of customers who visit the pharmacy
  • Support the design and execution of health awareness campaigns
  • Ensure that controlled drugs and poisons register of the Pharmacy are properly kept
  • Drive the medication use review process and ensure the all records are properly kept
  • Ensures the imprest/petty cash accounts are properly managed
  • Ensure all financial and strategic targets are met
  • Ensure all patients are properly counseled and all medications leaving the pharmacy are properly labeled.
  • Ensure proper documentation and resolution of all issues regarding customer returns inward
  • Ensure stock outs are reduced to the barest minimum and drive the process of replenishing stock as soon as possible
  • Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints
  • Assist the full time Pharmacist to ensure all wrongly procured stock are promptly returned to the source of purchase at the soonest possible time.
  • Supervise Pharmacy assistants to ensure proper shelving and merchandising of all items of stock
  • Assist the Full time Pharmacist to ensure right mark up are applied the correct prices affixed to all items of merchandise
  • Assist the full time Pharmacist in competitive scanning of the environment by keeping a tab on the activities of competing businesses with a view to staying ahead of competition
  • Assist the full time pharmacist to ensure all sales are banked intact on a daily basis.
  • Assist the full time pharmacist in the process of periodic stock taking and resolving all discrepancies arising thereof.
  • Supervise the accurate recording of daily sales and ensuring the records tally with actual sales.
  • Drive the customer management process to ensure all customers are satisfied
  • Supervise the timely opening and closing of the pharmacy
  • Supervise the prompt disposal of all waste generated in the Pharmacy
  • Supervise the PHCN and generator operations to ensure there is always power in the Pharmacy
  • Supervise the responsible staff to ensure all appliances within the pharmacy are functioning optimally
  • Supervise the prompt posting of invoices once procurements are made
  • Ensure all errands are run at the right time to guarantee smooth running of the pharmacy
  • Supervise the proper management of telephony within the pharmacy to ensure proper customer service
  • Assist the full time pharmacist to ensure the smooth process of all cash purchases and ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts
