Position:        Marketing Officer

Location:       Abuja, Nigeria


About the Position:

  • Responsible for promoting the company brand, products and services to the public. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Analyse target markets and analyse current market trends.
  • Research customers’ needs and wants as well as competition information.
  • Manage promotional activities to endorse products.
  • Develop and implement promotional activities and record findings.
  • Develop effective marketing communications programs.
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Liaise with media stakeholders to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure marketing is done within the budget.
  • Monitor competitive activity and evaluate marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social media forums to generate interest and monitor activity.


Qualification and Experience:

The following are the minimum requirements for the position of the Marketing Officer:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in Marketing and Sales
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
  • Basic knowledge on the use of computer applications.(Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • At least 1 year post qualification experience
