The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, proactive and experienced enough to be able to plan, coordinate and manage passenger transport operations to ensure the provision of quality services to clients at the right price and at the highest safety standards. Academic training in logistics and transport management is a plus. Candidates with experience in app based taxi scheduling and/or taxi dispatch system are particularly encouraged to apply
People/driver management, finances and budget planning, marketing and client sourcing, strategic development and service planning
Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Union laws and local regulations, particularly relating to health and safety.
Write clear weekly reports and present options/advice to senior management on policy dynamics and strategic developments (pricing policy, level of service provision, timetable changes, client sourcing etc.) with respect to their impact on company operations.
Manage and supervise staff, coordinate staff training, shifts, negotiate and manage contracts and developing new business opportunities whenever possible.
Independently manage disruptions, resolving delays, manage conflicts and difficult situations, and meet with passengers and customers to resolve matters pertaining to complaints and client satisfaction.
Carry out competition intelligence and market passenger services, identifying existing and possible future transport problems to develop encourage greater passenger use of particular routes and methods of transport.
Other duties as may be assigned by management.
