Vacancy Details 

Job title: Technical Sales Trainee (B2B)

Location: Nigeria

Duration: One year with opportunity to advance into permanent position. 

Industry: Chemicals, manufacturing, non-food consumer goods 

Assessment and Interviews: Lagos, Nigeria


Role Summary:

This role provides great opportunity for graduates seeking a career in technical sales. As part of the B2B sales team, the sales trainee would be equipped to be actively engaged in prospecting and developing new accounts, generating sales quotes, and handling customer inquiries to help service customers and grow the business. In addition, he/she will make cold and warm calls for new market initiatives while becoming technically knowledgeable about the company’s products and services.


Basic Requirement


First degree in chemistry, pharmacy or related sciences.

Master degree in chemistry or related sciences

Previous experience in technical sales (B2B) is an added advantage 


Flexibility: willingness to work in different B2B business units and locations in Nigeria when required.


Job responsibilities:

  • Developing existing customer relationships and finding new customers.
  • Identifying new market and new product opportunities 
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Understanding Cormart value-proposition and matching it to customer needs.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolve customer issues promptly.  
  • Generating new leads and business opportunities
  • Providing feedback on future buying trends 
  • Representing Cormart at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations 
  • Providing some technical support to customers
  • Reviewing sales performance against target
  • Providing monthly reporting of activities
