Planning and overseeing new business initiatives
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
Planning and preparing presentations
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions; examining risks and potentials.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Reports to top management
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, preferably second class upper
Should have minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role.
Should have proven background in business to business management and Retail Distribution.
Have to be a result motivated individual, driven by exceeding targets and earning commissions.
Superior time management and organisation skills are required.
Good business sense
A deep understanding of marketing principles
Good communication skills
A positive attitude and ability to work independently
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Ability to use Microsoft application packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
