The job of a Brand Development Officer works for all aspects of an organization’s daily business. This covers sales, marketing, brand development, and dealer management. They are primarily responsible for developing highly effective marketing plans through a deep understanding of the consumer and the brand’s target market, which in turn, achieves profit and maximizes the brand’s long-term potential.



  • Creating brand strategies such as positioning, scheduling, and deciding on the selling platform.
  • Champion the articulation, implementation and ongoing review of approved strategies, policies, work plans and programs for marketing activities in the company. 
  • Plan and execute all web, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • To manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional strategies and activities including but not limited to prints, electronic and direct mail etc. This also includes working with writers, graphic designers, overseeing designs, layout and production of advertising and promotional materials.
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • To identify new business opportunities for the company
  • In charge of creating new branded items and selling initiatives, marketing the company image and positioning throughout the industry.
  • To develop and maintain key relationships with potential and existing customers i.e. individuals, corporate organizations, advertising agencies etc.
  • To manage and direct the application of the marketing budget and initiate strategies for minimizing marketing operational costs always
  • Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for a number of business areas
  • Using web analytics software to monitor performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement;
  • Contributing to company and industry blogs and managing e-communications;
  • Creating and uploading copy and images for the Company's website and social Media platforms
  • To evaluate market reactions to promotions and advertising programs and ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Developing and executing customer pricing and promotions, 
  • Analyzing trends in the sales performance and adjusting plans accordingly in order to meet the sales target
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Manage and enhance a company's brand or reputation in the public's eye.
  • Coordinate objectives with marketing and advertising departments.
  • To conduct market research to determine market requirement for existing and future services and competition.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • Designing website banners and assisting with web visuals;
  • Develop and execute brand management plans.
  • Identify brand-building areas.
  • Provide design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and other visual communications media for the company.
  • Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Assist in development and refinement of uniform graphic standards and visual brand strategies.
  • Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums;
  • Engage in direct marketing activities (email, telephone, direct mail, one-on-one) with existing customers and prospective customers to ensure customer retention and acquisition.
  • Constantly review-marketing tools employed to generate and sustain customer relationships and change ineffective tactics as necessary.
  • To identify new business opportunities for the company.
  • To develop strategies for ensuring customer loyalty and retention to the company
  • To ensure the achievement of the company’s revenue goals and targets for any given period. 
  • Identify and engage prospective customers
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments and continuously incorporate this knowledge in ongoing business development activities for the company
  • Generate frequent reports on major business development initiatives and forward to the General Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.



  • Minimum of a BSc or HND in business studies or marketing or any relevant course as well as business experience.
  • 1-3 Years Brand Development experience
