Our Client, an IT based company located in Victoria Island seeks to recruit a Business Development Executive
Business Development Manager
- Identify and follow through of potential business deals and customers
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
- Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management.
- Initiate, build and manage new business opportunities and customers
- Be involved in contract negotiation and work with technical department as required.
- Win early customers with limited support.
- Be ready to develop core values of the sales and business development group.
- Through personal example, establish the style and ethical approach which will characterize the Company’s dealings within the marketplace
WORK EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENT
- 3 years plus of business development, marketing, and/or sales experience.
- Experience in marketing or selling products or services in an early stage environment
- A solid understanding of IT service related market: products, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related markets.
- A good honours degree in any discipline
- Possession of an MBA or masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent
- SKILLS/ COMPETENCY REQUIRED:
- Identify potential deals and develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition
- Knowledge of corporate clients where services can be rendered
- Actively lead the business development function in an effective, aggressive manner
- Ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels
- Attention to details and well-organized approach to work
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
