We are looking for a school administrator for our vibrant school in Maitama. The school administrator must be presentable, charismatic and efficient at running a business. The preferred candidate will be innovative, vibrant, and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The preferred candidate must have excellent written and communication skills, and must be able to work in a team environment. The manager is expected to have good decision making analysis and be able to prioritise.

This administrative role will include assisting with the following responsibilities:

  • administer the 'student lifecycle' from registration or admission to graduation or leaving;
  • provide administrative support to an academic team including tutors or teachers;
  • Be responsible for ensuring a positive working culture - this includes creating events and workshops for teacher training, staff bonding etc.
  • Manage the after school and holiday programme activities, including planning, organizing and marketing
  • Implement policies to promote efficient use of resources
  • maintain high levels of quality assurance, including course evaluation and course approval procedures;
  • use information systems and prepare reports and statistics for internal and external use;
  • participate in the development of future information systems;
  • contribute to policy and planning;
  • manage budgets and ensure financial systems are followed;
  • purchase goods and equipment, and process invoices;
  • supervise other administrative staff;
  • liaise with other administrative staff, academic colleagues, teachers and students;
  • communicate with partner institutions, other institutions, external agencies, government departments and prospective students;
  • organise and facilitate a variety of educational or social activities.
  • work on committees including academic boards, governing bodies and task groups;
  • Develop innovative ways for efficient information management
  • Ensure the school remains a collaborative and friendly environment for staff and kids
  • draft and interpret regulations and deal with queries and complaints procedures;
  • coordinate examination and assessment processes;
  • assist with recruitment, public or alumni relations and marketing activities;

  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to account for day to day operational expenses and materials used
  • Ability to foster an amiable rapport with parents and address any issue that may arise
  • Security conscious - be able to keep the data of staff and students properly
  • Ability to make sound judgments and take initiative
  • Ability to research and recruit new teaching talents to the school
  • Ability to research new innovative ways to make the school stand out in the competitive education environment.
