- Prepares monthly accounts for management
- Reconciles bank statement with company's entries
- Represents company on tax consulting issues
- Prepares of financial statements
- Monitors company's general ledger activities
- Performs internal control and risk management functions
Job description [Personal Assistant]
- Manages and maintains the EP’s diary and email account.
- Filter emails, highlight urgent correspondence and print attachments.
- Organise inbound emails into the appropriate folders and any relevant information to be copied into the correct file on the hard drive.
- Respond to emails as much as possible, dealing with appointments.
- Ensure busy diary commitments, papers and travel arrangements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers etc. and troubleshooting problem
- Conduct weekly diary meetings with the EP to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests.
- Ensures the EP is fully briefed on, or prepared for, any engagements he is involved in. Keep and maintain an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the EP.
Exprience, Knowledge and skills
- Must have HND in Accounting with minimum of 1-year experience.
- Must have tax experience.
- Must understand key accounting concepts.
- Familiar with financial reporting systems.
- Good knowledge of computer and accounting software, record keeping skills and communication skills.
- Must have driving experience with valid driver's license.
- A good deal of common sense, etiquette and ability to think on one's feet.
- Bright, confident personality.
- Well presented.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Due to the nature of the role, successful candidate maybe be required to work on Saturdays.
- Candidate who resides in Ikeja is mostly preferred.
- Successful candidate must be ready to resume immediately.
