Our client in the construction industry requires the service  of an experienced General Manager to manage &  facilitate all aspects of branch operations to ensure a profitable outcome for the company. The manager will be responsible for the planning of strategy related to resources and procedures for that branch and other branches.

Business planning within allotted time frames and in line with budgetary allocations is a significant part of the manager’s role, ensuring the branch business plan is linked directly to the corporate plan. Personally, the branch manager must use judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in areas such as hire, sales and engineering activities.


The ideal candidate must have a Master Degree from a recognised International Univeristy in Abroad.

Must have good people and administrative management skills

must know how to keep, build and manage existing and new client relationship

follow up on all pipeline project to ensure completion


  • Coordinate all company operations including the appropriate use of all physical resources.
  • Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment, plant, fixtures.
  • Liaison with suppliers, merchandisers and other partners.
  • Liaise with external agencies and authorities (e.g., fire services, police, local council , etc ).
  • Recruit, train and develop staff.
  • Maintain competitor analysis reports and plan, forecast and business reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and tactics.
  • Advertising and promotional strategy and activities in line with budgetary parameters.
  • Contribute to company strategy and policy-making.
  • Manage customer service activities and staff competence in these areas.
  • Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the company.
  • Manage OHS policies, Management Plans and Injury Management and Rehabilitation programs
  • Manage cash and payment systems with staff and customers.
  • Manage branch costs and overheads
  • Render weekly report to the Managing Director/CEO
