A firm in the healthcare sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role



To assist the consultant on all administrative duties and gain supervised experience using the techniques of Applied Behaviour Analysis with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related developmental disorders.



  • To work as an assistant to the consultant
  • To attend all clinical consultations with consultant
  • To attend all assessments with consultant
  • To take notes on program changes, modifications and all issues discussed during consultations
  • Carry out research on clinical matters relevant to current clients, compile the information and present to the consultant 
  • To attend any classes or training sessions as required
  • To comply with all policies and procedures
  • To comply with all child safeguarding policies and procedures
  • All administrative duties relevant to assisting the consultant
  • Liaising with clients, interdisciplinary partners, Nobelova staff, and schools
  • To send reminders to parents a week before consultations
  • Schedule appointments for initial consultations and assessments
  • Update client database
  • Weekly updates for social media (Twitter, Facebook and website)
  • Organizing and getting the team involved in events relevant to mental health in Nigeria
  • Developing new and useful educational programs with consultant
  • Compiling and editing assessment and consultation reports
  • Developing assessment report writing skills
  • Completing developmental checklists used in writing assessment reports



Skills Required

  • Extensive knowledge of asktoks(dot)com and solid understanding of the organisation’s philosophy, brand, aims, and objectives
  • A range of experience working with children (minimum of 6 months)
  • An understanding of clinical assessment tools
  • Ability to work in an efficient manner, using initiative and exercising good judgement when necessary
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken, including ability to educate, advise and present
  • Diplomatic – ability to build good relationships
  • Discretion
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a professional team, including taking direction from managers
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, multi task
