Competent individuals are urgently needed in Zaraada Nigeria a newly established first class restaurant/bar situated in DBS Road Asaba, Delta State which will commence operation in the month of July, 2016.

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for ensuring meals are made to company’s standard and ultimately customers satisfaction and reduce wastages

 

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for Production of meals
  • Attention to detail, maintenance of high company standards
  • Understanding of food health and safety regulations
  • Maintains safe and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Plans and directs food preparation in the kitchen, as directed by executive chef
  • Strong leadership skills -- ability to oversee management and training of line cooks
  • Management of food purchasing and storage
  • Maintains positive attitude especially when dealing with customers
  • Preparation of continental dishes.
  • Ensure Food is ready to leave for at the right time.
  • Ensure the concept of clean as you go is practiced 
  • Training junior staff on acquiring catering skills
  • Ensures general cleanliness of kitchen and equipment to meet, food safety and hygiene.
  • Delegation of duties to staff

 

PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Must have sound written and oral communication skills;
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills
  • No experience is required
  • Should have at least SSCE
  • Staff meal provided
