JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the workforce and Firm’s day to day running, human resources and administration, financial management, systems management, promotion of the brand, business development and strategy.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Human Resources

  • Responsible for the recruitment and selection of new hires, training and development, employee relations, counseling, personnel data systems, compensation/benefits administration and other HR functions for the legal, paralegal and support staff.
  • Receives information and details from employees and communicates it in meetings
  • Responsible for practice management including Lawyer recruiting, Legal Assistant supervision, implementing professional standards and other practice management functions.
  • Communicates and collaborates with inside and outside stakeholders, which include suppliers, staff, and vendors.
  • Responsible for practice management including Lawyer recruiting, Legal Assistant supervision, implementing professional standards and other practice management functions.
  • Execute monthly payroll and assist the Finance Officer with Budgeting.
  • Coordinates the induction program and facilitates employee on-boarding process.

 

Business Development

  • Develops business development strategies including strategic, tactical planning and quality control.
  • Communicate and implement firm’s strategy internally and externally to enable all employees, suppliers and contractors understand the firm’s strategic plan and how it carries out its overall goals
  • Sends email correspondences to senior partners within the firm to provide information and updates regarding the practice
  • Collecting information and details which could help the firm in day-to-day and company-wide decision-making benefits the practice

 

Operations

  • Pursuing day-to-day management of workforce
  • Developing the organisational traditions, work surroundings and facilitating communication.
  • Supervise company’s day to day operations and facility management.
  • Ensures that equipment are functioning at optimum and office supplies are readily available to employees.
  • Oversee the Firm’s Website and Social media pages.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/Sciences/Law/Arts
  • MBA/MSc (Added Advantage)

 

KNOWLEDGE  REQUIREMENTS:               

  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels
  • Office Administrative skills
  • Digital marketing experience is an added advantage
