Purpose of this Position

The specific purpose of this position is to manage sales and service workflows and implement processes that ensure the delivery of excellent client relationships within a B2B ICT environment, develop customer satisfaction measures within a defined customer base. The role holder will be responsible for the management and implementation of pre-sales bid activity and post sales service activities in an effective, efficient operational and strategic manner to deliver excellent services to clients and in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies & standard operating procedures and client rules and regulations.


Primary Responsibilities

Bid Management:  Plans and manages bid sign-on and sign-offs activities within stipulated timelines and their operational requirements.

Contract & Client Relationship Management :  Provide support for compliance with client service level agreements as required, liaises with and responds to requests from clients, account management, provides regular or ad hoc reports to the clients; provides advocacy for clients within internal stakeholders.

Financial Management:   Ensures timely production of clients invoices.

Business Development:  Provides input and supports business development activities for the company as required. Manages the availability and accessibility of current product information


Key Relationships

  • The role is part of the internal operations team.
  • The role liaises with clients, technical specialists, sales, finance and other stakeholders as required.


Authority levels

  • The position carries a degree of autonomy with appropriate consultation. The role is required to analyse and make sound recommendations to the Customer Relationship Manager
  • Contribute to process improvement through innovative and cost effective proposals/ideas/suggestions.


Education and experience required

  • A relevant First degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience preferably within an integrated Communications and ICT company.
  • Knowledge of Bid management.
