Job Description


Job Objective

 

The HCM Manager will work closely with its respective business unit’s management team and counsel management on strategic as well as tactical HR issues, including but not limited to: Benefits administration, staffing/​employment, employee relations, trend analysis, policy and program administration, compensation/​benefits administration, climate surveys, etc.​ Serve as \"point of contact\" for all employees in assigned business area.​ Provide \"value-added\" consulting by understanding the business strategies and translating those into actionable people strategies.​

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison to employees, in a client group/location, for answers to basic to moderate questions regarding policies and procedures.

 

Ensure that personnel policies and procedures are communicated and followed and are in compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and statues

 

Assist in resolving basic to moderate employee relations issues.

 

Works with managers to appropriately coach and discipline employees.

 

Facilitates and monitors the yearly Performance Management, Compensation and Employee Development Cycle

 

Partners with Senior Leaders in employee recognition/employee programs and initiatives

 

Perform basic to moderate tasks involving recruiting, employment, compensation, benefits, training, security and other HR related tasks as directed.

 

Conducts and/or oversees new hire assimilation process.

 

Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to HR/Director. 

 

Analyze basic to moderate management information reports for cause and effect, and make recommendations to HR Director.

 

Assists in various training and development endeavors

 

Conduct various special projects and prepare various reports as requested by HR/Director

 

Completes other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

Educational Requirements and Work Experience

 

Bachelors degree in relevant subject with equivalent experience, MBA will be an added advantage​

 

Requires a minimum of 3 years of life-cycle HR experience

 

MUST have a demonstrated ability of excellent organization and human relations skills.

 

Excellent communication/​negotiation skills.​

 

Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to respond effectively and timely to questions from groups of employees and managers alike.

 

HR generalist background with a focus on Benefits and experience and knowledge of policies and procedures, and some experience in handling difficult and moderately complex employee relation issues.​

 

Demonstrated ability to work with members of senior management teams and establish credibility as a business partner.​

 

Must be flexible in adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced, software/​technology environment where initiatives and areas of focus can change with little or no notice.​

 

Must possess strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
