General Requirement for this position:

·         Experience in a Telecom Engineering, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top priority

·         Bachelor degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable

·         Good Customer service Orientation, communications skills, good teams spirit and has the ability to work independently.

·         Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.

·         Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel and PowerPoint).

·         Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology.

·         Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written.

·         Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.

Position:    C/W Radio Network Planning and Optimization Senior Engineer  REF:TSD/NTS/02/2010

Department: Network Technology Service

Responsibilities:

·         CDMA/Wimax Network parameter optimization

·         High level CDMA/EVDO/Wimax Network troubleshooting and analysis

·         Networking planning and Expansion support; technical support for evolution of new CDMA/Wimax projects within the region

·         High level RF technical support for different CDMA/Wimax projects within the region

Requirements:

·         The candidate must have at least 10 years Telecoms experience and at least 7 years experience in CDMA/Wimax RF planning & Optimization with at least 5 years experience in RF planning & optimization of Huawei’s equipments .

·         An ambitious self starter with outstanding communication and customer relations management skills

·         A result oriented, strategic thinker with proven track record

·         Familiar with the CDMA/Wimax Network in West Africa

·         Bachelors Degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science or relevant Engineering major
