Job Description

Amonet Limited is a Registered Domiciliary Care Company providing Million-pound contracts to many local authorities in London. Since established in 1994, it has four units one of which is the Private Sector Unit which provides domiciliary care services to private clients from overseas visiting London for either medical treatment or on holiday. Its services include escort, house management, shopping, medication administration, personal care, administrative support, hospital visit and live-in care.

The company is ISO 9002:2008 registered with British Standard Institute and rated “Excellent” by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of Health and Social Care Services in England. Post: Senior Cares/Care Co-ordinators

Salary: £20,800 per annum

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent of British NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care; fluency in spoken and written English Language and any of the African main Languages; relevant health and social care training such as risk assessment, customer care, manual handling, care plan preparation, staff supervision, first aid etc.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years health and social care working experience dealing with children and adults living in their own homes in the community, three of these must be at the management level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of Domiciliary Care Services for children and adultsliving in their own homes;
  •  Recruit, supervise, monitor, discipline care staff working for children and adults;
  •  Plan care staff work schedules, assign job and delegate responsibilities to them;
  •  Liaise and work with health and social care professionals in the hospital and community to determine short and long term needs of children and adults and provide services to meet their personalised needs;
  •  Deal with the social, economic, emotional and psychological needs of children and adults living in their own homes;
  • Maintain client’s records either in files or computer;
  •  Maintain contact with community based organisations to advertise company services;
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and their families;
  •  Monitor the effectiveness of services provided by the care staff with a view to improving the efficiency of their services.
