Applications Administration (LEC/COS/AA10/)

This position reports to the Head of the information Technology Department. The Applications Administrator is responsible for institution’s technical relationship with networks, monitoring position, scheduling SQL tasks, installing and managing EJU and Camera application, testing of disaster recovery procedures, among others.

Experience

• Person SpecificationMinimum of 2nd class degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a related qualification.
• Possession of a master degree and EFT (ISO8583) knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Must have 3 years post-qualification experience in managing position.
• Must have bank computer system knowledge, including the Position architecture and how the Transaction Manager, interfaces, interchanges and nodes fit together.
• Must know the key position concepts, routing, account profiles, card products, card sets, positive balances, acquirers vs. Issuer sink nodes, hot cards, cryptography, monitors and fluent in Position trouble reporting, tracing, and event logging.
• Must be versatile and able to work with minimum supervision.
